How it all started in 2012...
Looking back, I see a spirited young boy stepping into his teens. Each day, on my way to school, the sight of begging hands, child laborers, and misery in the slums ignited the spark of an idea for change. I decided to use a portion of my pocket money for the well-being of these people, and over time, this idea evolved into a mission, with my classmates forming an extended organization.
At the foundation, I was too young to grasp the complexity of socio-economic problems, and such a venture was deemed unconventional for someone my age. Hailing from a small town and a middle-class family, society wasn’t initially receptive to our initiative. Despite adversities, I consider myself fortunate to have had the support of like-minded individuals who believed in the cause beyond mere logic.
Youth is a tremendous reservoir of energy, wide-ranging if not harnessed properly. In the Bring Smile Organization, we follow the principle of channeling this energy constructively. We pool diverse skill sets and resources, breaking the stereotype that material wealth is a prerequisite for serving mankind. Flexibility, to me, is the breeding ground for innovation and ideas, a core principle we maintain within our organization.
Beyond our regular charity events, the Bring Smile family, as we often call it, embodies an ideology—a lifestyle centered on bringing smiles. Our interactions with the less fortunate, our perspective on problems, our gratitude for luxuries, and our commitment to giving back define the ethical fabric of every smileworker. I dream of a day when every young mind contributes positively, united for a common cause, building a world filled with smiles. While we can’t eliminate all suffering, we can share joy, creating a blissful impact. With this dream, every smileworker moves forward into a brighter and more joyful future.

Meet Kratika Patel, our passionate Head of Legal Affairs at Bring Smile Organisation (BSO). A distinguished law graduate with a stellar academic record, Kratika brings a wealth of knowledge in intellectual property law, civil, and criminal legal systems. Her journey from a Legal Associate at Exorbis to leading our legal initiatives showcases her commitment to create a positive change. Kratika’s impact at BSO is profound – from crafting legal strategies that support our mission to leveraging her expertise in dispute resolution. Her exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills have been instrumental in navigating complex legal landscapes, ensuring BSO continues to bring smiles to those in need.
Dheerendra Shukla, our Co-founder & Treasurer at Bring Smile Organisation (BSO), is like the heartbeat of our mission. He has done Postgraduation from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), India’s top place for learning about helping communities. Dheerendra’s journey is like a story, starting from the fields of Hamirpur, UP, and going to the lively streets of Mumbai.His academic brilliance aren’t just a piece of paper, they show his dedication to understanding and helping communities. Dheerendra brings to BSO a blend of financial management, research skills, and a love for making things better. From leading fundraising events to reshaping financial strategies , he’s not just balancing the books – he’s creating a story of change and smiles. His dedication goes beyond the balance sheets – Dheerendra is a poet, a community builder, and a firm believer in the power of education. Join him in spreading smiles and making a meaningful impact.

Prabhat Mishra, our Design Head and Senior Graphics Designer at Bring Smile Organisation (BSO), brings joy to our mission through his creative designs. His colorful creations not only look great but also tell the story of happiness that BSO aims to spread. Prabhat is like an artist with special tools like Photoshop and Illustrator, making pictures that capture the heart of what BSO stands for. From Scoreplus to VidyaWise, he has shown a strong dedication to using his designs to make a positive impact.As the leader of our graphics team, Prabhat’s designs reflect the smiles we want to bring. Pragati Verma, our devoted Secretary at Bring Smile Organisation (BSO), shines as a distinguished Jagriti Yatra Alumni and REX Youth Fellowship recipient. Her journey began at City Montessori School in Lucknow, where her roots fostered a profound commitment to our cause. As an alumna of Jagriti Yatra, Pragati brings a unique perspective and a wealth of experiences, having traversed the diverse landscapes of India on a journey of social impact and entrepreneurship. Her affiliation with the REX Youth Fellowship further underscores her dedication to personal and societal growth.These laurels speak volumes about Pragati’s commitment to making a positive impact. From her roles as the Head of the Finance Department to Chief Operating Officer at BSO, Pragati’s journey and recognition showcase her exceptional dedication and contributions to our shared mission of spreading smiles and creating positive change.

Meet Rinku, our dedicated Program Head for the Rahat Campaign at Bring Smile Organisation. With a passion for community-centric projects, Rinku brings over three years of valuable hands-on experience to our team. Having pursued an MA in Social Work from Indira Gandhi National Open University, Rinku’s educational background enriches his commitment to making a positive impact. Starting as a Gandhi Fellow, Rinku has been instrumental in planning workshops, connecting schools to midday meal services, and collaborating on employment initiatives. His journey extended to impactful roles such as Program Coordinator at Youth Empowerment Foundation, Program Associate at Dance out of Poverty, and Labour Research Fellow at Bandhua Mukti Morcha. Rinku’s versatility and commitment shine through in each role, reflecting his dedication to creating positive change and empowering marginalized communities
